Stress-free comprehensive estate planning services from the comfort of your own home.

Benefits of a Comprehensive Estate Plan

Incapacity Protection

Planning for incapacity protects your family and assets when you are unable to act for yourself. A power of attorney, health care surrogate designation, living will, end-of-life directive, and HIPAA release are all included in every estate planning package.

Emergency Planning

You will receive an Emergency Plan Toolkit for your instructions on how short-term caregivers can take care of your children, pets, home, and digital assets in an emergency. Planning prevents last-minute scrambles and unintended consequences.

Optimized Asset & Tax Strategies

Trusts and planned giving can protect your children’s inherited assets, retirement and life insurance proceeds, and property from future family and tax impacts. All trusts include detailed manuals for trust funding and trustee duties. Assistance with trust funding is also available.

Comprehensive Estate Planning Services

  • Will

A will is a legal document that gives direction to the probate court and your family about who will manage your estate after your death and who you would like nominated as guardians for your minor children.

  • Trust

A trust is a legal document and entity that you create to hold and manage assets and transfer assets to your named beneficiaries on your behalf. A revocable living trust is managed by the trustmaker (you) during life.

  • Health Care Directive

A Health Care Directive allows a person you nominate (called a surrogate) to make medical decisions for you when you cannot make them yourself, in addition to allowing for you to memorialize your wishes if you are incapacitated.

  • Specialized Trust

A specialized trust can be designed to protect assets for multiple generations and optimize estate tax planning. Common specialized trusts include children’s asset protection trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, retirement plan trusts and similar estate planning vehicles.

  • Power of Attorney

A power of attorney allows someone nominated by you to act on your behalf if you are unable to do so. A power of attorney can cover financial and health-related matters.

  • Military & Veteran Estate Plans

Estate planning for military families takes into account special considerations like different states of residence in military couples and special resources available through the Department of Veterans Affairs and other retirement and insurance plans.

  • Asset Protection Entities

Business entities, like LLCS, can be used to hold real property or business interests to provide more asset protection and creditor protection for the future.

  • Charitable Giving

Estate assets can be used for the greater good by incorporating charitable giving into an estate plan. You can make charitable gifts in a will or trust, establish a charitable trust, or use other charitable tools to establish a legacy while reducing the tax burden on your estate and future beneficiaries.

  • Business Succession Planning

If you own a business or business interests, planning for what will happen to your business when you pass away is critical to preserving those assets for your children or other beneficiaries.

  • Special Asset Transfers

Transfers of firearms, property subject to homestead tax exemptions, and retirement plans require specific estate planning techniques. Coordination with federal and state laws and property titling rules will also be essential in dealing with these special assets.

Plus, you can protect your business interests the right way at the same time

Have you thought about whether your properties should be moved into LLCs, how your business interests should be transferred, and other business-related matters? I have the business and tax background to assist with those issues too!

  • Your business idea will become a legal reality when you form your business entity. I advise on single member and multi-member LLC formations, partnerships, professional corporations, and joint ventures. Included are key startup and maintenance documents plus a valuable Compliance Playbook.
